Entry Requirements

  • Students must be at least 18 years of age at the time of course commencement.
  • International students applying for this course must provide evidence of meeting one of the following English language proficiency requirements: A minimum of
    • IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.0
    • PTE Academic: Overall score of 50
    • TOEFL iBT: Overall score of 64

*Note: English test results must be no more than two (2) years old at the time of application.

  • Students must have successfully completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma qualification in related fields of study
  • Applicants will be required to demonstrate their Language, Literacy & Numeracy proficiency and digital literacy undertaken during an initial interview at the time of admission and undertake a Language, Literacy & Numeracy and Digital Literacy (LLND) assessment. Where gaps are identified, ALC is committed to providing appropriate and reasonable LLND support strategies to assist students in achieving the required competency levels. This may include advice about external support services or tailored in-house assistance. (Exemptions: The College may not require a formal LLND assessment if a prospective student can provide a copy of their Australian Senior Secondary Certificate of Education (Year 12 certificate) or a qualification at a Certificate IV level or higher, or equivalent.)

Delivery Mode

This qualification employs a Blended Delivery approach, integrating both face-to-face and synchronous online learning components.

  • On-Campus Sessions: Students will engage in traditional classroom training held at the College.
  • Virtual Classrooms: Learning is complemented by live, interactive online sessions conducted via a web-hosted platform (e.g., Microsoft Teams, GoToMeeting, Zoom). This ensures real-time engagement with instructors and peers from a flexible location.

*Note for Student Visa Holders: To comply with visa requirements, student visa holders must attend a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours per week.
